(Brentwood, TN June 1,
2006) --
ClinixMIS, a medical billing and practice
management software company, announced today
that they have completed a 100% replacement
of all ClinixMIS system hardware components
with the latest in data storage and server
technology.
"Our investment in these
hardware updates is a result of our
commitment to our customers to provide them
with an advanced technology infrastructure,"
said Jerry Killough, president & CEO of
ClinixMIS. "Our business model provides
that we will maintain our hardware and
software up to or beyond current standards
so clients benefit from the best there is to
offer. When a company becomes a part of the
ClinixMIS customer family, they know that
they do not have to be concerned about the
cost of or the technical issues related to
either hardware or software upgrades to
their system."
This upgrade was completely
funded internally and has not resulted in
any price increases or downtime to customers
since the project began. The new system will
allow users increased speed and performance.
The company processes over
$840 million in healthcare provider charges
and handles over 3 million claims each year,
1.4 million of which are filed directly by
the company to Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, and
RR Medicare. This total hardware upgrade
effectively provides unlimited expansion
capacity to handle the company's accelerated
growth. ClinixMIS now serves clients in over
30 states nationwide.
